The Olympic Hex Trap Bar is a specialized weightlifting tool designed primarily for exercises such as deadlifts, shrugs, and farmer's walks. Its unique hexagonal or "trap" shape features two handles on each side with an open space in the middle. This design allows the lifter to stand inside the bar rather than behind it, offering a more ergonomic grip and potentially reducing strain on the lower back, especially compared to traditional straight bar deadlifts.
This Hex Trap Bar is manufactured with chromed sleeves and a new chrome surface finish ensure durability and comfortable grips.The grips have a diameter of 30mm, providing a secure hold, while the sleeves have a diameter of 50mm, accommodating Olympic plates. The grips are spaced 60cm apart, promoting a natural hand placement for users.
The total length of the bar is 160cm, offering ample space for various exercises. It comes with 2 spring locks to secure weights during workouts. Overall, the Olympic Hex Trap Bar is a reliable and versatile piece of equipment suitable for a variety of strength training exercises.
